Colockumelk Auction Hunt
« on: July 11, 2013, 01:40:06 PM »
I just got off the phone with Bearmanric and we decided it was time to start a thread for our upcoming hunt. For those that may not know, Rick Auctioned off a 5 day bear calling hunt. The auction was won by Yorktransport for $2000.00. York can't make the hunt so Paw66, Docsven and myself split the cost 3 ways. It's an honor for me to do this hunt knowing that it brought in money for Aarons family. The hunt is now 3 weeks away and we are all getting excited. This will be a good way for all of us to keep each other up to date on our preparation and planning along with allowing all of you to share in the fun. I know I have been gathering gear, shooting my rifle, sharpening knives and all the other stuff that goes into hunt preparation. Soon we will be posting up pics of camp and animals hopefully. I'm excited, can't wait!
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

I'm very excited. Will head to the coast next thurday when the wife gets home from Vermont. Bought a killer camera today. I'll gets some pictures of my hunting area's. On my elk hunt last year I lost my custom knife. Well treated my self to a new one. The handle is Zericote the blade is 154.  The other is my first benchmade sweet knife. It has a S30V. Rick

Those are some nice knives Rick, I'm jealous. We are going for as many bears as we can get, up to 4 that is.
