I like the step by step updates.
Make sure you let us know what’s for dinner, how many hours you sleep (if any), what time you head out, …   :chuckle:  :chuckle:

Just having a little fun… I really do like the updates!   Keep 'em coming and wishing you the best of luck.

Lunch was a cheese burger and fries. Sorry I didn't take pics.  :tung: We are at Cabelas in Lacy buying a duplicate bear tag. Mine blew out the window around Lynnwood! :bash:

That's too funny!  I'm dissapointed you didn't turn around and take a picture of it.  :chuckle:

Talked to Rick this morning, he and Pat went scouting yesterday and didn't see any bears, he said there aren't a lot of people over there yet.  He mentioned finding about three elk kills, on with the head missing, and is keeping an eye around for sign near the kills.  He also said that he is seeing a lot of sign in other places.  They will be going out in the morning early and glassing, listening to the brush, and will start calling.  I will be hitting camp about 8 tomorrow night.  I had asked him about any cold storage near there for when we tag out, he is looking into it, but has to leave camp and find a spot where he can get phone reception.  Hopefully we will need a locker soon!

If we can get some say I'd like to vote for a small....little guy.....being popped opening day. I think you all should skin it and cook it whole over a fire all day....low and slow...then just go heathen and eat that sucker down to the bone.

No need for a locker early on....problem solved!

I think Hawaiian style pit would be better, I'll see if anyone brought banana leaves.

Rick's bears have been training for the hunt tomorrow, just like these bears from the North Country.

What goes on when you are not there!

Good luck, all.
