Looks like a fat old sow and a beautiful buck. He's a wall hanger. Amazing how well elk have ranged throughout the state now; right in our own backyards. I jog on a trail that's actually mostly in the city limits and I've run into elk, deer, bear, and coyotes. I know there's cougar out there at times but I haven't seen them yet.

We came over the mtns few weeks ago, at the I90 405 interchange getting onto 405 there were 3 deer eating in the blackberry bushes, it's crazy where you see them over there
Is it waterfowl season yet..............

Is it private property or public land? Those big bucks will completely change their habits if they get a little pressure, so you might not be seeing the bucks due to pressure from other hunters. :dunno:
The best friend a guy could have asked for. RIP chasing pheasants in heaven Denali girl.
