Looks like a fat old sow and a beautiful buck. He's a wall hanger. Amazing how well elk have ranged throughout the state now; right in our own backyards. I jog on a trail that's actually mostly in the city limits and I've run into elk, deer, bear, and coyotes. I know there's cougar out there at times but I haven't seen them yet.

We came over the mtns few weeks ago, at the I90 405 interchange getting onto 405 there were 3 deer eating in the blackberry bushes, it's crazy where you see them over there
Is it waterfowl season yet..............

i have hunted this property for 3 years.only ever seen one deer and it was a doe.see elk almost daily.i have 2 treestands and a ground blind set up.i use them according to the wind direction.

Is it private property or public land? Those big bucks will completely change their habits if they get a little pressure, so you might not be seeing the bucks due to pressure from other hunters. :dunno:
