Well made a Smith Farm trip with my brother thanksgiving weekend.
We got a wild hair up our arse and decided to go north.
My son was tooo tired from working graves to join us.

Friday morn we got there early and got the only blind in the field

.
We had about 20 birds in the decoys at shooting time.
First flare we dropped 3 birds. Later, while looking for another bird, we found a dead bird and upon further review, discovered my brother had killed 2 birds with 1 shot, during the first volley.
All in all we got 13 birds Friday, a mix of mallard, widgeon and teal, Sat, thanks to the pheasant stumblers and weather, we got 5 birds for the 2 hrs we hunted.
Oh by the way, I read a posting at Smith farms that said they are closing the pheasant release site there.
