Ok, I have a Moultrie D55IR that I have never used. I put batteries in it, new card and headed up to my location, kicked a dozen bighorn sheep, and 5 deer off of the water trough when I got there. I dumped out a sack of deer co-cain and set the camera up. I always set up the camera then walk in the target location then check the card on my camera. The game cam shows that it took pics, BUT they don't show up on my digital camera, it says no image. I tried everything I could, even switched cards from my bushnell that I set up 100yds away in the brush. Nothing. I left the cam up there just hoping maybe they will read on the computer, or I can hook the cord from the cam to my computer. Anyone have this happen before?

Yea you can hook the cord from the cam to the computer or if you have the tv out cord you can look at the pics that way to.

will they show up tho? on the front of the cam it said like 8pics, then I walk in front again it would say 10 or so but the card said no image in my digital camera. I was hoping to just plug the whole thing into my computer, fingers crossed.

If you go check it tomarrow maybe bring a different kind of sd card and see if that works.

Sounds like your camera isn't recognizing the format.
I would guess if you put the Card into a card reader in your computer they will show up.

You should always verify that a new camera is working before you leave your house! If you have a laptop, take that with you tomorrow to check the camera. It could be that either the sd card or the file type is not compatible with your digital camera.

Its weird because i tried 2 sd cards, and pics off the bushnell show up from both cards on the digital camera :dunno

The bushnell is taking pictures in a different format then the Moultrie. Some digital cameras will recognize from some game cameras and not from others.

I'm with Matt. It's a format difference. Doesn't mean it's not working, just means the card is formatted to the trail cam and not the digital camera.

It dosent matter if you format it with those cams. They will take pics and it will show when you put the sd in a ccomputer. Mine won't show on a digital camera but shows pics on my tv and computer. Let it soak, your fine.

Definitely a format issue.
