I guess if your primary criteria for buying an arrow is how well it holds up to being shot into 2x4s then more power to ya...

I guess you cant see a arrow thats half the price can take the same hit. I dont see paying 70+ for six arrows that cant take a hit after coming out the back of a target isnt worth the money :twocents:  the gold tip kinects can take the same Hit and fly's better at range and is the same price or cheaper, they take it woth the hit inserts too.

There is a recall on Easton axis arrows right now.  You might contact them and get reimbursed or?
The recall does not include the n-fused line of arrows. However I think very few arrows are designed to withstand (especially at todays speeds) an impact with solid wood. Sounds to me like the problem isn't necessarily your arrows, but your target not stopping your arrows. I use these same arrows and think they work great. I went down to my local feed store and bought a couple hay bales. Cost me about $10, sure beats blowing up arrows. Good luck

Actually the recall is only for n-fused axis.

Last year I switched to carb ex max and the knocks break or fall off?  Don't like the tree behind target either.  I am going back to beman ics.  A few still in the tree!  They are the toughest I have used.  Shoot the same as the $$ ones for me and way cheaper.
MAGA!  Again..

No, they are for the axis focused energy, not the n-fused. Two different arrows. Gotta read the whole thing.

The axis focused energy are n-fused axis. Same arrow. Focused energy is more of a phrase, not the name of the arrow.

No I appreciate it. You made me have to go double check mine again. I ordered mine off ebay and they look slightly different. I am wondering if I got a knockoff.

Is the label more of a greyish color instead of green? The older axis like the ones in the pic had a label with lots of green. About two years ago they changed the color to have a lot of grey in it.

I've been shooting the n-fused since they came out however many years ago. I think they are fairly tough as far as impacting something head on, but if you whack something from the side they will bust right in half. For instance a few years ago I messed up on a bull at 17 yards, he came in from the left and as I followed him along he stopped, I shot and my arrow exploded. My arrow had hit a small dead tree I didn't see right in front of his vitals, glanced off the side of it and broke right in half. I've had it happen several times shooting 3d as well.
