And the obvious question is . . . How much $$$?

I'm assuming if I have to ask . . . I can't afford it.  :chuckle:

The one pictured will run you around $5500, plus shipping, tax and FFL fees.
I saw a basic model for around $3600

They are nice but for that kind of money it better be hovering closer to 1/2 moa or less at 1k.  They are definitely cool though.

Cool, but you can build a bolt action .300wm that holds 1/2 MOA out to 1400yards for 2/3 that price. Besides, you should only need one shot. What's the point in a 10 round mag?

You'd do OK if you sold it by the lb! I'd be able to afford one, too!  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Question is, why not? :)14 rounds down range, 1/2 MOA out to 1500 yards... Who needs reason more then plain ole fun!

must be built on an AR-10 platform.  You'd never get an AR-15 to handle those herkin' cartridges!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I think it is a custom based off a lengthened 10...don't think the AR-10 could handle them either.  I'd like to see them make it for the .338 LM.

This is great.. We started with a rifle claimed to hold minute of angle to 1000 yds. Next up was the rifle you could have built that would hold 1/2 min at 1400 yds. Now we're up to a custom that will hold 1/2 min at 1500 yds. I'd love to see someone show up and shoot that well.

I'll bring my .338 out and hold 1/2 MOA to 1800 yards :) a little tougher with a .300 wm though.

The 230gr Hybrids and H1000 aren't much different ballistically than my 300gr .338 Hybrids with H1000. What charge of H1000 are you loading behind them?

the ar platform has had more money spent on it than any other I can think of. but and no disrespect meant  us old guys over 60 still cling to our bolt guns I have shot ar-15 my kids own and they are great shooters just look and feel kind of funny to an old guy.  that said if i were to run into you at the range I would like to pull the trigger one time or maybe two argie1891
