Is the river fishable with all the rain we have had?
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Is it really ever fishable? Chocolate brown as ever. People standing in it yesterday by the soccer fields as I came thru.

It's been a good year for me up there.
4 silvers 4 pinks all hens. Freezer is almost full of eggs and I'm almost tired of smoked fish.

Right off 176th.

I'm making bait with some of mine, but I'm pretty sure I won't ever use as much bait as I'm getting eggs. So I've thrown a bunch away and I hate wasting them. Anyone tried making their own roe? I may attempt caviar just to use some up!

Oh man,  I kid down there picked up a non cliped king and kept it.  He said it was a silver.  I said OK, do silvers have dots on their tail and black mouth?  Hmmmm,  He had ripped out gills.  He was pretty luck the F&G did not come down.  He was 19 or 20 years old.

Without a good look they are tough to tell apart a lot of silvers have black mouths with white gums.
