Went out today and landed three of the six we hooked up on. Unfortunately some crappy line was our biggest issue. Solid keepers and loooots of sea lice.

Looking forward to spending some time in the boat and from the sand bar fishing this year. May try to hit it Sunday.

My daughter and I did not have any luck on Sunday, though this is our first time fishing for pinks.  Folks around us were having plenty of luck though.
I am trying to connect with, and introduce my family to, the American hunting and fishing heritage to which I was never introduced.

Went out last night. Landed 3 of my probably a dozen hook ups. Brother in law landed his 1 of several hook ups. It's about to kick off here soon in the river. My one buck was over seven pounds without the guts, and had two hens that were 5+. Big big big humpies.

we lost 2 at doug bar on sunday. I think the outgoing tide may be better there rather than the incoming. Lots of jumpers not a lot of takers. May fish lower on the river out of the boat friday morning. Can't believe i haven't landed my first humpy yet. what a weird year for me.

Filled three limits last night in about 3 hours. They are knockin the crap outs pink maribou jigs. Took my wife out for her first pink salmon trip and she filled her own limit. After she was done I took her back into Snohomish so she could go home. I jokingly told her that she's cleaning her fish, and much to my surprise when I got home later that evening, all four of her fish were fileted and wrapped in the fridge! She told me she watched a YouTube video and decided to give it a shot. Couldn't be more proud....

in the Snohomish. Just use pink jigs, wait for slack tide. That's when they really get rolling.

Took out a New guy tonight for some river action. He's used to fishing the sound but his boat has been out of sorts. Hooked him up with two and I pulled another limit. Still good looking fish. The derby Saturday could shape up to be a good one.
