i cant even understand fishing regs! they got a whole book for fish! u can only fish for salmon from this rock to this other rock thats under water and only if the wind is blowing east and the sun isnt too bright and only if its swimming upstream on an empty stomach but only if its consensual and not against the fishes will, and only with fishing line approved for salmon fishing (see chart) and of course only during certain days that we choose randomly and u have all proper licensing for that certain area which we will make very vague rules on what licenses you will need! good luck! thanks for your donation!

That's mainly the reason why we only fish one or two lakes. We figure out what we can and can't do and stay there.

Yes it can be confusing, but for God's sake, they haven't changed the size limit on Dungeoness crabs in years (had to remind someone last year that the measurement was not from point to point), and the season hasn't opened before July 4 in Area 7 for how many years? (had to let three people know it was not open July 4 weekend this year), and it has been closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for at least a few years (last week there were three traps in the water on a Wed. and this week had one on Tuesday, this guy appreciated my call since he had lost his pot at least).  The salmon closure area has been the same off the S and SE sides of Lopez for a lot of years, which apparently was not noticed by the folks I reminded of this three weeks ago... these are only a few of what I see on almost a weekly basis during the summer.

I agree with the OP, read the dang regs!

YAY! More ethnic bashing!!! YAY!

I have seen far more dirt bag white trash poachers on the river than I have all other races combined. I'm not sure why everything on this site has to be directed back twords different races/ethnicities. Gettin really tired of it actually....  :twocents:
