Need advice on fishing lake chelan
« on: August 26, 2013, 11:08:57 AM »
I'm going camping at lake chelan and want to get my six year old son into some fish. We will be fishing from the bank.

I was thinking worms, wedding ring spinner or rooster tails.

My ex and I used to catch some nice rainbows off Grade Creek with worms below a bobber from shore, but I think they quit stocking rainbows so I don't know what is there now.  You might have better luck at those smaller ponds on the south north side of Monson Manson is it?  OK, it's been a while....   :chuckle:

For what you're looking to do, I'd hit Roses or Wapato Lake.  Much better chance of catching fish off the shore than Chelan. :twocents:  They're located just outside of Manson, on the north shore of Lake Chelan.
