Day 2...
« on: September 04, 2013, 12:54:07 PM »
I got him talking yesterday. But he would not show himself...

Today,
He showed himself but way out of range.

He is a toad...  It looks like an 7 X 8.

He sure sounded like wimp yesterday and today.  Not one chuckle just a squeal.

Looking forward for tomorrow.

As the resident Medicine Man, I sense a little sickness is setting in and order you to fresh air specidically in the mts where there is wildlife so you can recuperate and get better for at least two weeks.

If this area is the same area you told me you hunt. You might want to call in sick and get it done before some yahoo does something he is not supposed to and screws it up :twocents:

I am hitting it in the morning.  I have a two meetings back to back from 11 AM  - 1 PM.   I found cell range and I will bring my ear buds so that I can attend.  I will really stupid out there if someone see's me. But that is a gamble.

Picture this:

Full camo
Backpack sitting beside me
Water out and getting sipped on..
Android on one hand to attend the presentations.
Ear bud in one ear.
Whispering to ask questions...

But if I have an elk down I hope I can attend while packing out the meat or driving home.

Me too...  The rain tomorrow might help...

I have hunted elk for a long time.  You can never truely hear an elk and then say that is a big one.  Most big bulls typically growl, huff and do the sputter bugle with a bunch of chuckles when they get really upset.

But this one just is a little different...
