Opening day success

Well we got on a nice bull Monday night and located him early opening day. Stalked him for about an hour then had some rouge hunters come through and spook hiim. So after trying to get in front of him we went back and found his cows. Then we just waited and he came down the hill to our left. As soon as we had a clear shot my buddy smoked him at 37 yards. One right to the liver. Stopped in his tracks my buddy put another text book shot into both lungs. Well he finally went down in a creek.  Good hunt, great shots and we all have meat to eat. Great success. Now I have both seasons to fill my tag.

Thanks everybody. Here is a pic of the rack. I know you all like a nice rack. We were blessed. The shooter is a sailor on a sub and has only had 3 days in the last 10 years to hunt. That was one happy guy.
