Hey what's the hold up with this new camp. You guys should be organized by now.
You got to decide where your hunting and what permits to put in for.
Some one needs to take the lead here.

Pick a couple future dates in a central place and see what shakes loose. You can't get them all on the same page.
Hunting camps are never fine tuned ,there is always a little blurr on the edges. Jump in , take the plunge, you will love it.

I’m part of an established camp so all I can offer is advice to get you all started.  Someone take the lead and start “bucketing” groups to see who potential campmates are.
•   The first sort could be eastside and Westside hunting preference.
•   The second sort could be method.  Archery, Muzzleloader and Modern.
Once you have those names for which side of the state and hunting method preference then you then have the basis to set up a Face To Face to see about compatibility and general area you want to hunt.  After that you can set your hunt group and all apply for permits in that area.  Start scouting for a base camp location etc…

I just saw this Russ and I think it's a great idea. I hunt modern elk on the West side, but I can hunt deer anywhere. I also hunt bear, West side mostly but I would like to try the East side if someone wants to do that.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.

Here is the deal.  Turkey session starts the 15th next month.  I am working in the NWTF banquet on the 22nd of this month.  So I am thinking the 5th of April at my house in Enumclaw.  I am a bow hunter but we can all meet and divide up from there.  Let me know what you think.
