Are you very fond of this shop or have any reasons to be loyal? If not I would be looking for a new mechanic. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined but am blessed to have some friends that are Einstein of mechanicking. have access to everything I need. Hell they even help me and or tell me whats wrong or what I am doing wrong. and they are really good at drinking beer at the same time.

When it comes to auto electrical Vancouver might as well be a third world country. Portland is not much better. There are few days I ever miss Seattle, but when it comes to food and auto mechanics I miss Seattle a lot!

After I tag out, I am waterfowl hunting or fishing from mid Oct. to the end of Jan. Then I start springer fishing, shooting starlings or trap and sporting clays. Then turkey time and lots of fishing. Their is always something open.

Do you have a code reader? I got one a couple years ago. Plug it into the OBD2 cable and crank her over. If there is a problem the reader will give you a pretty good diagnosis. No more waiting for mechanics. I'd be glad to help if you weren't 3.5 hours away.

Good story and excellent success Rad!
I came in to pick on you about, "Tag out?" as I haven't filled a tag in 3 years, (all in jest of course) but I loved the story and I'm hoping to do the same over there real soon!
