over here toyota makes a tacoma sized truck with a diesel engine, my buddy has one and he's running 40 MPG
Yep, which is why I don't get why they won't put a diesel in a Tundra....

The rest of the world sees the advantage of a diesel vehicle. Europe has a ton of diesel rigs on their roads.

I don't think most Americans can see past the negatives of the old diesels that were smoky, and stinky.

I wish Toyota would get off their a$$ and come out with the 3/4 ton diesel Tundra already.  :bash:

I read the other day, that Toyota had axed the diesel Tundra again.
Damn, I hadn't heard that. I don't understand why they wouldn't make one. I guess I'm stuck with buying a duramax in the future...  :chuckle:

For you powerjoke guys.....
My '07 2500

I "like" Ferds, but they just don't make the power that I like :chuckle:
Now you guys don't go and get all statistical, I'd hate to start comparing numbers :chuckle:
A highly self proclaimed Ford for Life friend of my dads drove my dads 04 2500 5.9 ltr Cummins to Tonasket over the weekend and about crapped his pants when he noticed the power difference towing at only 1500 rpms. Its got him thinking its time to upgrade. :IBCOOL:
Other than Dodge, next in line would be Toyota. I still love those trucks. Then comes Ford followed by Chevy in last place.

I have no regrets about my Tacoma - it's an awesome truck for it's size and abilities!  I wouldn't mind seeing a diesel Tundra for sure, but my next truck will be a Ram 2500 with a Cummins on 37's!

MS - It looks like you have 37's on 18's is that correct?  Why no 37's on 20's???  :dunno: :chuckle:

I've gotta say I really love my Chevy! I used to be a Ford guy but I've seen the error of my ways! :chuckle:

Yup, 37's on 18's! I'm not a fan of how a ten inch wheel sticks way out. I couldnt find a twenty in a 9" either.  I didn't want a ton of dings or those ugly ass big bolt on fender flares :chuckle: I'll stick to a 9" wheel.
I'll admit,  I like to keep her pretty :chuckle:

Muleysniper that truck is gorgeous.  Dodge is a close second for me if i get a new truck it'd be a hard call...

But you know how family goes...  :P  Chevy at the bottom for sure...
If the river was whiskey and i was a duck, i'd dive to the bottom and never come up.

I'm always having to swerve for them damn dodge parts when I am up driving the gravel roads  :chuckle: Just playin  ;) It would actually be a toss up between the Super duty ot the dodge super crew or whatever the hell that thing is  ;) Oh by the way, 37's are for weeners  :chuckle: Step up and go 38's, too many woman are stepping up to 37's  :chuckle:.
