So two years ago they were offering the package at the sportsman show in puyallup including air fair for 2500.  I do believe it was for 300-330 stag.  Have prices really gone up that much? Just curious.  I guess I should have booked  :bash:

I really do not see how that is possible. I have been doing these trade shows for 6 years and never seen that big of stag with airfare for that low. Everyone last year that had stag hunts at that show was right with my prices or more. We are usally the cheapest. Even at portland where there is 10+ outfits selling stag hunts. I only saw 3 at Puyallup last year when I was there.

Here is what some of the other guys are running on the same package. These are all good outfitters over there.

kiwi 7250.00 5 days at 550.00 daily rate and 4500.00 for a stag in the 330 class.
tree tops 8000.00 5 days at 500.00 and 5500.00 for a stag in the 330 class.

Those are all without airfare as well. There is a few of the outfitters that do offer airfare but almost every main name hunting outfitter over there does not offer those kind of packages. For what you get in the package that I sell you will have a very hard time beating it or finding the quality.

there wasn't any last year for that cheap it was the year before.  In fact there weren't many offering new zealand hunts period last year.  I'm not doubting your price is good one.  I just remember trying to beg the wife into letting me book a hunt at the show because it was that cheap!  Thats the only reason I remember the price so well.

Yeah that's unreal I would have booked it to after checking references. Really 2 years ago I paid 1000.00 for a plane ticket. So that means they were only getting 1500.00 for the hunt after all said expenses maybe 1000.00 in there pocket which is just way lean.

Just tell the wife I said it was ok and Santa as well and come see me at the shows  :chuckle:

Sorry guys been busy hunting.

I am going to be offering a all inclusive red stag hunt for 4,500.00. This is for one stag 300-330 and fee's for one hunter. Non hunters and other hunters can be added to this package. Also any other animals can be added as well. We offer it all and if new Zealand has it we guide for it!!! All you need is your plane ticket and we will take care of everything else.

So where does a 300-330 stag rank in SCI ranks?

What would that first bull score on this thread?

The first stag is the next level up. Which I can upgrade the package to for 2000.00. The 2nd stag pictured is in the 300-330 range. I have hundreds of photos with me at my shows with all different pictures of stags and each class they are in.

So where does a 300-330 stag rank in SCI ranks?

It depends on the method but it is a sliver stag. There has been enough stags taken with all types of methods it would no be very high for preserve stags but is top of the books for free range.

I am offering both types of hunts. This special is for a preserve stag but we can make it free range if you want. There is no guaranteed inches on free range but you can take the largest stag you find. We own more then a couple of the top ten free range stags in sci.

I take it these hunts are on the south island? Is there any specific season? I will be on the north island next year for about 3 weeks in December/January.
