A big thank you to CP!
« on: September 28, 2013, 12:23:45 PM »
I would like to thank CP for taking me out on my first silver fishing trip   We got in a few good hours before the storm this morning.  Thanks again for all the mentoring in silver fishing and taking me out on such a stormy day

Nice fish!  CP is a good guy and has it dialed in for certain.  I was out there too, caught my second right as the wind hit.  Which boat were you guys in?  Pretty sure we were in the same area - I was in a blue Lund with a merc on the back.

Not sure of the boat he owns, it was 17' and white :chuckle:  Just as we got done talking about heading back at 1000 the wind hit us pretty hard and we headed back.  On the way I saw a massive sea lion eat a salmon like it was  a sardine :yike:

The wind sure did come in quick, and it cleared a lot of boats quick :chuckle:  Yes those silvers sure put a better fight than pinks.

It was my pleasure Seth; you’re great company and quick study.  Hopefully we can do it again soon and maybe find a few more fish next time.

Skillet I think I remember seeing the blue Lund, we were in my beat-up old Arima Sea Chaser.  I’m sure we passed each other a time or 2.
