Hello from E. MT
« on: September 29, 2013, 01:17:40 PM »
Duck season opened up yesterday here in MT so I got out for a quick jump shoot and got the only duck where I went a blue wing teal. Got home and my 5 yr old daughter wanted to hold it so I let her. (First pic). She then tells me she wants to go with daddy next time I go, well I already made plans for an early a.m. duck hunt. So after I get home and clean the teal from this morning I took her to the same place I went yesterday and got another teal. Crappy thing is when this teal got up and I shot it, on the other side of the dike in the bigger water surrounded by cattails about 30 mallards jumped up and took off. Oh well quick hunt and my daughter loved it. Says she wants to go again. She carried the duck all the way back to the pickup.
