YOU DECIDE Oct. POM contest
« on: October 29, 2008, 12:38:16 PM »
We are going to do something special this month.  It has been a relative dead heat between two photos this month between all of the new judges and old.  PLUS, some controversy and I believe this will make it fair.  Photo number three was submitted prior to the contest closing but was modified in size  after the deadline.  I initially threw it out, but thought I would include it in this vote and let you choose if that was important or not.  It was a sure contender and could have possibly won the contest withhte judges.   This poll will run for approx. 24 hours and will decide the winner of this months contest and hat.

As soon as I am capable (not on my work computer) I will attach the three photos for your reference.  For now reference the OCtober Photo of the Month Contest thread.
Photo one is Lemondogs Mtn photo
Photo Two is Blackfoots first image of an elk
Photo three is a success photo of a young man by Bucksnort

First 2 were easy to find. By the time I found blackfoots I forgot which was which previously...

8 pages of scrolling. Dont you have a super zapper that can make them appear in this thread? :dunno:

I will Bob, but I have firewalls at work that won't let me manipulate them.  If Rob is on and has nothing better to do, he can sure add them.  I just physically can't until I get home.

They were in the wrong order and I didnt want voters getting confused so I put them in Bones original post and removed the others.

I think Lemondogs Mountain photo is probably the best, very close contest.

I voted for that broken down old bull, seems he has a better story to tell then the mountain does !!!

As for the boy with the buck, I think his story is just begining !!! Nice Job !!

I gotta go with the kid, to me it captures everything october is about, nice bucks, good company, and beautiful scenery.

As much as I love the other two, especially the smile on the kids face, I had to vote Broken Bull.   I think we can all relate to that at one time or another, especially as we get older.

Something about that pic just speaks to me of the struggles we go through, and get broken up, solitude, loneliness and yet still majestic..........
