My old camera gave up the ghost. It was a old point and shoot. I have been reading tons of consumer reviews and think I have decided on a Fuji Finepix s82oo. 16 mp and 1080 video. The cost is in the 250 range. I am just a novice photographer and want a simple camera that takes good pics & short videos Does anyone have one of these camera's or one they totally love in that price range? Thanks for any advise.

I have this Nikon and love it, you can get the full package at Costco for around 250-300. It's tuff and has good battery life. Not afraid to throw it in my pack to take a beating
