Only 5 days till saturday and I couldn't be more excited. Got my spot. Gonna set-up my blind on thursday. Got all my stuff(except decoys) and my new shotgun. Gonna be my first time hunting ever and I am so stoked. Cannot wait till Staurday!!!

Glad to see new hunter excited about duck hunting. Hope you do good on opener but ducks won't be around Skagit valley for about a month or more. I've. Been duck hunting SV for 15 years. It's usually Thanksgiving before duck hunting gets good. Have Fun.

Have fun and be safe!  I'm torn, really want to get out this weekend, but don't want to battle the opening day crowds. Maybe I'll chase some coho on Saturday and hit it Sunday instead.

I remember those days when the season could not get here fast enough and thinking I have to go to school for over a month and a half before the season started. Man time stood still and don't miss that part one bit.  Now it seems to get here almost to fast.
