I can’t wait to do it the next time.

Very true.  Prizes are icing on the cake--tops off the thrill of coyote hunting!    Thanks!!

Now I have another question ....concerning team cards ....each member has to have a card So can the card have all the members listed on it or does each card have to have the persons name on it individually ?

This is the 2nd year I'm in charge in organizing Coyote Madness. Im happy to do it, and I like to try and make every year, better than the previous year.  I'm sure we would have a great turn out, and have a lot of fun without the prizes. Remember these sponsor support us as predator hunters & outdoorsman, and like it was mentioned. Its just the iceing on the cake.  I hope everyone has fun this year, and enjoys the madness.

You can have just your name, or the whole team.  Just mention the member name who gets the point.

Hey Raul, just wondering what your thoughts were about possibly getting additional points for a shotgun? Mabey .5 or 1? Up close and personal requires good calling, and good stand dicipline. Just throwing it out there.

I have a question, why are westside dogs worth 3pts & eastside dogs worth 1pt?  There's heavy timber on both sides, Westside is clear cuts & stripped in places for the yarders, where the the eastside is heavily brushed. I've lived & worked in the woods on both sides of the state & no there are plenty of dogs throughout the state. Just a question the  wife asked that made me wonder. Or is it because were just better shots on eastside!lol :dunno:

Probably just that there are more wide open spaces here on the East Side, making it less important to call them in close.  True, I've seen places here on the East Side that are just as brushy and wooded as the wet side....

Westside dogs are alot harder to call. They don't like to come out in the open.  There is more food and cover so they don't need to be as agressive to find something to eat. I have had the best luck calling farm areas on the westside. Those dogs are more used to being out in the open. Alot of it is shotgun only, so it can be tough to get one inside of 50 yards when they can see for a mile.
