1964 Remington Woodsmaster 742 in 30-06. Originally purchased by my grandfather, now in my hands, and will later go to my son.
Nice looking gun.
Re-finished?
Honestly, I grabbed that image from the internet. Mine is identicle, same quality finish and all, but has a very small chip in the black portion of the front stock.
I swear every time I go to the range, someone tries to offer me cash on the spot for it. After explaining that it's an heirloom, they always say something like "oh god no, you gotta keep it forever then". Hahaha. Yup!
To my knowledge, there is around 18 Deer and 14 Elk had with this gun now. Can't wait till my boy starts adding to those numbers also
