OK GUYS, KILLING THE TIME BEFORE I LEAVE FRIDAY
Lets all share our Deer Rifles and Caliber
Gun stories would be Great also


Mine is a old wood stock Remmington model 760 pump action in my favorite caliber 30-06
My Uncle gave it to me. It was my grandpas' brothers' for all the years He hunted the woods.
I upgraded it with a Nikon 3x9x40 scope and a set of weaver see threw scope mounts (just in case I need the open sites)
Also put on a slip on limb saver (wow that thing work great)
shoots strait as hell and with a fairly short barrel its loud as ****.
longest shot to date was at 250+ yards. (black tail spike)
love this gone and don't plan on replacing it any time soon.
Favorite thing about this gun is the pump action. Every time I am target practicing with it someone always says "that's a pump" Yes and in 30-06.

My first elk rig was my Ruger m77 30-06 then my Winchester model 70 30-06 then my Weatherby mark v in 300wby then my Remington 700 308 now it's a Rytera Alien-X

Ruger number one chambered in the 25-06 Remington with a 3x9 Leupold.

Depending on the terrain/cover I'm hunting either my Ithaca LSA 65 .270, Ruger 44mag carbine (for the thick stuff), or the trusty Marlin 30-30 lever.  Starting with the Marlin this year.  Good luck to everyone!!
