JBLM Day 1
« on: October 13, 2013, 08:51:50 AM »
Area 15 was the area that I was drooling to hunt. The day was a giant let down. I thought that when an area was opened to hunting with a certain code it was closed to any other activity. Well the only thing I saw was horse back riders and their dog  :bash: Just to be sure I'm going to call this morning before I head out and make sure I'm not talking out of my feet.

Anyway after I talk to them, I'm headed out to Area 11 to take my rifle for a walk.

Thanks,,I've hunted the Fort since 1964 with my dad, and now hunt it with my daughter (Quick Draw) and have killed quite a few deer off it.

Just got off the phone with the Northwest Adventure Center, and was informed that I was right, that area 15 is CLOSED to everything but hunting, and that the next time to contact the M.P.'s  I hate to ruin someone's day of horse back riding, but I'd hate to see someone get shot by some trigger happy twit too.
