It appears to be hard to find these pups around here, so I am hoping someone knows a reputable breeder to buy one from.  My co-worker has one and after spending a few weekends watching it, I think it would make a great hunting dog for me.  He is birdy as hell, listens very well, excellent temprement and swims.  Needless to say I am hooked and want one of my own.  He bought it from a guy in the Post Falls Cabelas parking lot, but has no contact info for them.  I live in Coeur d' Alene, but would drive out of the area to get my own.  Thanks in advance for any leads.

Jon

you best bet would be the pound. a friend of mine had one and it was a very intelligent critter with lots of personality... probably in thank to the lab in the equation for that.

I am not sure if there are too many breeders reputable or otherwise breeding that cross. Maybe the pointing lab crowd would know.

Thanks for the help, they are definitely rare, but I gotta find one!  I think I'll check out cabelas every weekend till they show up again.

No such thing as a reputable breeder for a crossbreed, :sry:

No such thing as a reputable breeder for a crossbreed, especially in a parking lot kennel!!
Sort of like the station/pickup pittbull salesforce.  Or the dog crate set up in front of the local grocery store.

I have a female Vizsla and she is an awesome dog. She is very loving and family friendly, extremely intelligent, and has plenty of personality. Good Luck in your search.

Yeah I was hoping someone had a better source than a parking lot breeder.

You could get a red pointing lab? Morgans point red labs. Mine is 4 months old and a beast in the field already we got a rooster today and yesterday. Proud of the lil guy for sure.
