Two four points for us! And some steelhead!!
« on: October 16, 2013, 05:56:24 AM »
Well my dad and I's season came to an end on Monday. The first day I had a nice 4 point at 350 yards he just got into the timber before I could get a shot. Day two we had a four point at 10 yards. My dad was in the lead I seen the buck and pulled up to shoot it, and he ran as soon as he seen the movement. I would have had to shoot right by his ear so I let it run away instead of ringing his bell at two feet, and blowing out his ear drum. Day three we leave for are walk. And I'm told we have to go back to camp because he left his wallet with tag there... So we go back get the tag and head back out to go for a walk. Now it's almost two hours after daylight. I found this small four point and I shoot him. While walking up to him he had a spike and another four point with him. My dad missed the other four point twice. So we bone mine out and pack him out. That night we head out to what I call the buck hotel. And we find one of my hit list bucks that I couldn't find during archery or muzzle loader season. He's a big tall four point. We see him at about 75 yards and we see each other at the same time. Well there must have been some buck fever because the deer is broadside and he hits him in the butt. So 5 shots later and a mile down the hill we recover this dandy!! :IBCOOL:

Gorgeous bucks. Well done.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
