well to be honest there are probably more elk wounded at 100 to 200 yrds than 800 to 1000  :twocents: if your set up for it, it is plenty doable, its the guys that arent that just hammer away. a couple of us know a guy that whacked a bull at 980yrds and folded it up, it was amazing. he does it quite often. i know with the right set up i could make the shot. but here on the wetside you really dont shoot more than a couple hundred  :chuckle: i cant wait to see more bulls form the watershed.... how long do your guys permit season last for that area  :tup:

Doesn't sound like you are going to see many more bulls.  Extremely tough year in the shed, harvest wise.

I would like to know how many bulls were  killed this year it was a tough year. I feel fortunate to have a good hunt.
