Where to run Hounds around Whitman County
« on: October 22, 2013, 09:42:22 PM »
I'd like to find locations to take my two beagles after rabbits.  I've been training them closer to town but the fields I use are now becoming apartment complexes.

The hound forum doesn't seem very busy. Anybody hunting rabbits with hounds in WA still? Here is a photo of my younger pup.

yeah they are pure bred beagles, but the color is about the same as  bluetick hounds, some have bawl mouth, or chop just like a hound, and some have hi pitch barks, just depends on the dog/blood line.all of mine sound like full size hounds.
