I got out this morning for a few hours and managed to pick up these four.  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: Despite the warmer temperatures the dogs still seem to be coming on a string to the call.  Somewhere in the mix heavy brush this morning I lost the fifth one spent half the morning looking for him... :bash: :bash: :bash: it is never fun when you lose one.

Funny how that works.  I've been to spots that are crawling with coyotes, and the next time, nothing!  They must roam around for miles!  :dunno:

A buddy of mine called me up Saturday night and asked if we could go out on sunday and see about getting some dog.  I looked at the weather 50's with 4 to 8 mile an hour wind.  I told him we would give ti a shoot..
Got out before light and made the first stand Nothing,  :dunno: on to the next..

Second stand had a couple of occasional gust's in the wrong direction, but we managed to pull one in..

Third stand, the wind started to pick up a bit, maybe 8-10 but not to bad, my buddy managed to catch a quick look at dog that had spooked as we were walking in, BANG FLOP! 260yards. :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

As my buddy walked over to get his dog, I was clearing, for later on that afternoon when we came back to call that stand.  After my buddy had gotten across the creek, I looked up at the hill top above him, and there was another dog watching him at about 700yards.  So a quick cell phone call later, and I told my buddy to circle around up wind and it should push him my may.  The plan worked out flawless for ME! :chuckle: :chuckle: 220 yards BANG FLOP!  My buddy said I planned that way so he would have to carry both dogs across the creek...  :dunno:

About the time we got back to the truck, the sun finally decided to come out, when it did the wind came with It. :yike: :yike: :yike: It was ridiculous...  We managed to get 2 more dogs out of 4 or 5  more stands but the blowing dirt and sand was just miserable....

Yeah, but you'd have to get 3 eastside dogs to get the points a wetside dog gets!  :chuckle:

West side may have just as many dogs as we have, but we can see farther...unless you hunt downtown Seattle!  :chuckle:
