Straight Camera....400mm lens.  I used a 2x and the 1.5 on the rutting 3 at the end.   The mirage (heat rising) was so bad it kept going out of focus.  I finally just worked my way closer, but the doe spooked and then the herd, and where they went I wasn't going.

What camera and lens are u using? I have the Canon EOS Rebel T3I. I need to get a different lens for it. Any suggestions?

Great pictures! Looking forward to seeing what other great pictures you post. Your collar pictures from the other thread we're pretty cool too. I've found that since I discovered this hunting forum a couple weeks ago my productivity has substantially decreased...
