Congrats to your brother! Way to stay in it. I'm pretty sure you were the guys my dad and I were watching butchering that bull from a ways off. Although it looked like one guy was doing all the work!  My dad has never shot one either, hoping to change that soon! Congrats again!

Were you the guys to the west kicking back with a warming fire, 2 drainages over? I was 'showing' my brother the ins and outs of quartering and skinning. All in all the field dressing and packing went well. Truck was loaded and heading down the hill by 12.

That wasn't us but we did see those guys. We were up on the hill right behind you guys when you were skinning it ( about 8-900 yards off). We took off about 1 pm. Did it ever quit raining?
