Get out of the logging areas and hit the wilderness, even if you don't see an elk the scenery is much better than clear cuts

Been at winston all week and have not seen one elk! Even camp 9 only has one elk. Not sure what to do from here.

Returned today - we saw 3 elk being dragged out of the timber + 1 dead coyote in 4 days ,walked on 1 spike, seen 1 buck ,2 does and 1 grouse + lot of underpaper mushrooms and million of hunters ...
