Anyone else notice? So far since the opener there's only been like two or three bulls from wwash posted?

Slow so far or :dunno:

Mine didn't want to stay and talk.  Pretty rude if you ask me.

All I saw was the south end of a north bound elk :lol4:

I have seen seven total during the rifle hunt.  Most have been pretty small 5X5's.

Between hoof rot and the thousands of early cow tags there aren't many lower elevation resident cows left to give birth to them.  But the WDFW wanted to reduce winter range deaths...so no elk left = success/few deaths!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I had seen a small herd of 12 that had 2 descent size bulls in it with nice racks, but that was early July. Haven't seen em since.

We saw 3 elk in the Toutle in 3 days but 2 of them are back at home and ready to be butchered in my garage! Won't have any pics until a later date as I'm too busy getting ready for my Manson hunt this weekend. That's the hunt I'm excited for more than the Toutle bull.
