Good choice. The Alder street fill has some birds, and mont lake by the radio towers has a few as well, but not the BIG numbers we like to see! It is getting better day by day!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

BWB,
I haven't been out lately but as flat as it is around the place I heard what sounded like goose hunters. That's no shots then all at once hell breaks loose. The Frenchman off Dodson NW has dropped and the ponds are starting to dry up where the ducks find a small pond in the middle of a bunch or cattails.Water has froze on the back porch. This will help get some ducks in the air. I was over there today (all day ) and never heard a shot or seen a duck not even a coot. Last Friday there were as many hunters as there usually are on Saturday.
Sisu give me an email as I lost signal on my phone and would like to know about your situation. I was going to Royal City to get a box of apples from a friend. (of course I wasn't driving while talking on the phone that's against the law)
Had 3 trucks and pups with rock delivered today now I need to rake it. Probably Thursday. I could use a couple more but have to wait tell the kitty gets build up.
Things didn't happen as planned and a lot of work was involved.
One was hand (shovel) dig a dump truck and pup out of the sand.
Guys I have a place I camp on Dodson mostly on weekends if I can be of help pm me for my cell#. I usually get there 9-10 am on Friday I'm really not much of a hunter but will try to answer if I know it.Have a 10' Livingston with a 6 hp to use if not already spoken for. If money for a motel is making you stay home bring you cot and sleeping bag.(If some one else hasn't betten you to the offer) Smoke out side but have some beers inside. I don't drink and won't put up with a drunk.
It's not a nice place but warm, light, restroom and shower, coffee pot and microwave.
And he's not kidding about moses lake dropping.

I spent most of my money on beer and women.
The rest I just wasted.
 occupation-- RETIRED!!
don't see how I had time to work with so much to do

I feel it is safe to say, we have a few northern geese around. The corn field hunters are doing ok. Still, not the big duck numbers.
