Just isn't the same.  Manifold cooking is the only way to get that elusive unburnt hydrocarbon flavor to your bratwurst  :chuckle:

Unless you have an older vintage rig, where on earth would you find the space to put a crock pot, let alone a sandwich? Ever look under the hood on late model vehicles?  :yike:
I could probably cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner under my Scout hood. I can't even SEE the exhaust manifold on my late model Jeep.

I do it a lot mostly in winter on wheeling trips in my Ford. Hot pockets or burritos wrapped in foil. Sure is nice having something hot after shoveling out that 7000 pound snow anchor  :chuckle:
