These are terrible pictures of a good buck.  I only saw him one time and these are pictures of him a long ways off and cropped really heavy.  I got about 10 images before he disappeared into the cattails never to be seen again by me.

A few bucks from 2012

Your pictures are amazingly sharp.  What is your secret?  What camera/lens do you use?

Thanks for the kind words about my pictures.  I use Nikon gear, a D300 with a 70-200vr and a 200-400vrII  lens. I shoot with several guys from Oregon including Ricochet and Brute.  We meet up every November to take pictures of bucks.

Sorry about your lunch break.  I've shared this video in the past, my son took this video and has 4 years of video of this buck.  Even though he bow hunts for this buck, he's never been able to get a shot at it, could have killed this buck 100 time before season but to the best of my knowledge this buck has never been killed.  I'll look for some newer videos.

Copy the link below and take out the spaces  between net      /jason/  in this link or the video just plays over and over on this website. Sorry for any inconvenience but I didn't want it to continue running and slowing down the page.
