Great pictures! I thought all the deer in burns live in town. I was at my parents house for elk season had some nice bucks in the yard and deer in every yard.

The black deer are really rare.  I'll post more about them in a couple of days when I get back to town.

Those are great photos of some really nice bucks but I just can't stop looking at that black doe, that is really cool, thanks for sharing.

I think its called melanistic? I saw a black fawn pronghorn a bunch of years ago in Wyoming. Someone told me its more rare than an albino. Found a melanistic garter snake with my daughter a couple years ago too. Awesome looking doe!

Interesting how the coloring makes it kinda look like a totally different animal :dunno:

This is the same buck from last year, he has always had an injury on that side.  I'm not sure but in 2012, it looks like an injury caused him not to use that leg much or something maybe causing his hoof to grow so long,  I'm not sure if that is the reason or not.  I'm heading back down in the morning to take more pictures won't be back for a week or so to most more pictures.  Hoping to get that picture of that one monster buck.

He's a quarter Dutch :chuckle:

The ruts pretty much winding down, besides we're going to meet our son and granddaughter in southern Oregon for a late season bow hunt this weekend. Here's a few more of the pictures I took during the November rut around Frenchglenn Or.  That was a good picture of the black doe Brute.  When I get back from southern Oregon, I'll post up some more pictures and maybe find some more of the black doe.  Thanks for all the comments.
