Wish I could have gotten a pic of the one I saw a few weeks ago. Lone wolf, dark grey and huge. In the Storm King unit in Lewis County. Submitted a wolf report with the state but have not heard anything back. This is the second time in 5 years I have seen a wolf where wolves supposedly should not be. I am sure someone from the state will contact me later and tell me what I saw was either a coyote or a hybrid.

My family moved up into the Ashford area in 1952 and many in the family have seen wolves over the years. None of us have ever seen a pack, but many lone wolves have been spotted.
