New Varmint Rifle

Hello,
I am looking to buy a semi-auto .223 for coyote hunting. I don't know where to start, and I need some advice on what to get. I don't want to spend over $800 if possible, but I don't want to buy junk. What rifles do you guys recommend? You can PM or email me as well if you have something for sale.

I shoot 60-80 Coyotes a year and rely on a Ruger mini 14 Target model with the Hogue stock and barrel harmonic tuner (for sub-1" groups), I have a leupold 2.5x8 on it and very easy to put night lights on it.... Great rig for night time.
Daytime Remington 40x 22-250 with 4.5x14 leupold and Benelli SBE II sitting in lap.

That's the name of the company. Like Colt, Bushmaster etc.

I think this would make a minimal frills Varmint/SPR style rifle that should pound.

1131.00 bucks. You could go with a cheaper HG and single stage stock trigger and get a little closer to 800.00.

there are other options in a  complete rifle than DPMS, like the Smith M&P sport- if you can find one.
 a build for a less experienced guy might be simply to buy a lower reciever (has to come from a FFL dealer), (delton or any other brand you recognize, order a butt stock kit and a lower parts kit. (you can order from lots of places- like Joe-bob outfitters-and they have kits where all the parts in a kit are a good brand, like Rock River),  the lower and buttstock is easy to assembly with very few tools, and there are lots of videos that show how to do it. then just order the upper half you want already assembled. (midwayusa, palmetostate armory, bravo company, about a dozen other places) look to see if the upper comes with a BCG (bolt carrier group) and charging handle, as some do, some dont. Midway has a basic upper in your choice of length for 415$-460$, with the BCG and charging handle. (in a brand like del-ton, dpms, etc) Yes, you could spend extra to get a free float tube, match barrel, etc- but almost any decent brand AR in standard 16" or 20" configuration will usually shoot 1.5" or less at 100yds out of the box.. isnt that good enough for a basic coyote/multipurpose carbine? This approach wont require you to have a bunch of specialized tools, or to be very mechanichally inclined, and should stay within your budget, putting together the rifle itself for 650 or so...
        The nature of this rifle means that later on, down the road, if you want to get a fancier upper with a free float tune or whatever, or get the tools and parts and change yours later on, you can...

Guys he is 15. He needs some help, I think your a bit over his head on a build. I hope your parents support your hobby. If so maybe someone here. might be able to help. A build and get a better charming getter. In the mean time do searches and read about the AR and you can order build to your wants/needs.

Thanks for your input guys, I'm still thinking about which route I'm gonna go. I like working on guns, and I thin it would be fun to buy the parts and build it myself. I do have quite a bit of gun experience, I've been collecting, and my grandfather is a home gunsmith, and would be able to help me out with whatever I need. I do like the DPMS rifles, and I think they are reasonably priced, but I've got time to think on it.
