There are no more deer left in the 101!  They have all been killed off by wolves, cats and the tribe.  Don't waste your time.  I might be over just to verify that they are gone either the last or second to last week of archery season.

oh man really, its been a while since I have been over there but other people I have talked to in the past says there are deer, but I will take your word for it. I don't want to make the 4 hour drive if there is really no deer in the area.

I was over for Modern Rifle General season and I never seen any deer. I am now stuck back on the Wet Side trying for the Ghost Black Tail!  ;)

Next year I will be back in 101 just to give it one more shot, we will see if it works out or not!  :chuckle:

If you are a youth you might find a White Tail Doe to take down but its some slim pickens.  :chuckle:

Oh and one more thing too, I would not go where I went, only thing I seen where Forest Grouse! and lots of round looking turds. Looked like big rabbit poop! I might have to get a small game license to hunt these giant rabbits!  I am sure if I was a rabbit, the size of those turds would have hurt bad..  :chuckle:

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

If any of you happen to see a 160+" main frame 5 point with split eye guards on the left and triples on the right, don't shoot him, he has deer aids and I have a permit to euthanize him.  I tried last year but he gave me the slip.  I don't want you to be infected by him.  :chuckle:
