Big vail buck
« on: November 16, 2013, 08:36:48 AM »
Shot this buck October 27th this year up Vail he was right off one of the main lines that everybody drives down he was on the edge of some jack firs with two does. One shot and the rest is history. The coolest thing about it was my wife, dad and brother were all there to share the experience.

Great buck.  He looks a lot like the one in my garden in August.  I live next to the Vail and it was the biggest deer I have seen in 13 years I've been here.

Just imagine how many bucks like that would be running around Vail if they made it 2pt or better...see what happens when a spike makes it through the pumpkin patch  :chuckle:

That's one of the nicer Vail bucks I've seen in a very long time.

That's one of the nicer Vail bucks I've seen in a very long time.

Maybe but a lot of blacktails just won't go bigger than 2 or 3 points
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
