I always have a Swiss Army Victronix Pioneer in my pocket.

Along with that, Hunting I always have my Puma Hunter.

i carry a folding old timer schrade.......if i ever lose it i will be pissed.  been using it since i was 11.  Holds a nice edge and is way easier to sharpen than a buck IMO.  I haven't had a buck knife for a long time so i dont know how hard the new ones are to sharpen.
Im a lead farmer mutha....

Hey, I've got one of those!  Inherited it from my dad when he died.  Mine's probably 40-some years old.  That heavy, bulbous blade is a brisket-splittin' SOB...

Well, I inherited my Puma also. That's a file photo. Mine has the wood handle of the older model instead of the stag handle of today. Mine is probably some 40 years old too.  Brisket buster?  How about hatchet! It swings with the wrist like an end loaded baseball bat! Holds a good edge too.

I carry a couple of small Ka-Bars and a Sheffield skinner.
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

I use these three. Usually the first two in combination unless I expect to tear apart some large cartilege. Then I will bring the big boy along.

I usually just carry a double blade folding Old Timer, you can do anything with one of those little guys. Two blades, the biggest about 1 3/4" long, the smallest about an 1" but super sharp :chuckle:
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Yes. Steve made it. It matches one of my bows  :chuckle: Carved up that bear with it last year. Hoping to have a repeat event.

i carry a buck 119 and a buck pro skinner, they are a bear to sharpen but they keep a good edge. the 119 i had to replace this year, my dad gave me my first one and he had carried it before that, probably had it since the early 70's. now its in a river in Yakutat Alaska. i was a little upset when i lost that one

Been using a Buck 110 since my early teens for field gutting.
I also collect "Buck" brand knives, so buck's are what I use. I use a 103 for skinning. A couple of years ago I also started carrying a Buck crosslock #B180. They call it a "PBS" portable butcher shop.
The one blade is for gutting and the other has a saw edge with a gut hook. The few times that I have used it, I have been very pleased with it. Buck's customer service is great also. They are the "Leoupold" of the knife industry when it comes to customer service.  :twocents:
