Replacement muzzy sight?
« on: November 21, 2013, 09:27:54 AM »
Howdy
The other day my wife decides to wing open the gun safe sending my Traditions Evolution front stuffer to the concrete floor busting off the rear sight.  Being a a relative novice when it comes to these things, what would you fine folks suggest I get for a decent replacement?
Thanks!

Call Traditions direct. They will sell it to you and mail it. Maybe a 20$ part.

based on a lot of feedback here, I put a Williams rear peep site. Works very well. Keep in mind you will probably need to change out your front ramp....at least I did, but it took several rounds sighting in before I realized that!!! good luck.

Thanks for the replies folks!  I wound up ordering a new Williams Sight made from machined aluminum instead of that cheap plactic stock one.

Excellent choice.  Some guys can't seem to get used to peep sights but I feel like they are definately the most accurate option for open sights.

:yeah: I had to put a different front sight on my charcoal-burner when I changed to a rear peep sight.  No problem, as I was going to put a fiber-optic front sight on anyway.  (much better!)  Also, put a bigger peep aperture in for hunting.  Small apertures are good for target shooting, but difficult in hunting situations.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
