Be careful the area I was in closes on the 30th. So people know your dates of the area you will be hunting.,

Spent the day over in that area ( no specifics ), saw at least 40 deer. 2 nice bucks few 2 points but no pigs.  Actually saw my first deer porn, 2 point mounted a doe. Someone mentioned on a different thread how they thought these late archery hunts should be permit only, I have to completely disagree.  Even though I never got within shooting range of a buck today, I had an awesome hunt and feel pretty damn happy about the fact that I can just grab my bow, multi season tag and go hunt. And have a chance at getting a real quality animal without waiting a few years for the damn tag.  I can put up with a few other hunters walking around, just have to go farther or deeper!

:yeah:there was a potential state record taken recently from the unit. Sure pic will make it here on huntwa soon. Its a tall toad typical! Deep forked!
