Full moon (bright moon)and blue bird skies equals tougher conditions than usual.  Your window of oppurtunity is smaller than usual.  ( Thats what I was seeing anyway)

If your strictly relying on the bait to see big bucks, it's not going to happen yet. They are still chasing and this weather is terrible for much activity. Also as stated the moon phase is bad. Not all is lost. Two things will turn the tide. Bitter cold and snow. Usually the last week of late is best for bigger bucks to lose some of their inhibitions......and sometimes an antler. Enjoy and be prepared to find a shed!!
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

Really depedends what your "cam" is seeing...bucks are not nocturnal right now...in the right area, right approach and right day you will see bucks moving during the day

Some of the bucks have been moving during the day around Spokane.  I saw a great 4x4 on Saturday that was on the move. A co-worker saw another big cruiser the same day.  Good luck.

The biggest of the big boys only move in daylight a few days out if the year.  You just have to be in the right place at the right time.

I've got quite a few bucks on cam during daylight the last couple weeks.  Went Monday and had a small 3pt, 2 pt and spike come in.  None were interested in the food they were sniffing at my doe in heat wicks.  I'm guessing the bucks where your at are used to barking dogs, slamming doors etc. I get the same thing where I'm at and they are used to it.

this nocturnal thing is just the way these deer seem to be were I'm at,I've got two cams up plenty of food out and the only time they come in is at knight,at least for the most part, and they are definitely there for the food.any way this is new to me also ,a friend got some property, and I'm learning the area slowly,(but surely!),I got on today because I looked outside and its snowing !!!here we go!!just hope he doesn't loose that rack before I fling one his way. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:best of luck out there, were running out of the hunting season of 2013,and its time to close the deal I made with fish n feathers !you know the draw fees ,license fees ,tag fees, land permits fees, parking fees, pass fees, you know all that stuff required,in order for us to persue deer and Mr. majestic, that darn elusive bull !!not complaining! just sayn,GOSH,i love this state :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
