Decoy touch up paint
« on: August 25, 2007, 06:45:45 PM »
I got a killer deal on some Flambeau and some Greenhead decoys. The Greenhead decoys need some touch up done to their heads and bills. Does anyone know if a craft store had the correct paint to touch up the critters. There probably are waterfowl companies that sell this stuff but I've found with a little probing a fella can save dinero by researching out the needed information.

Generally, any enamal should be safe for those decoys. Lacquer will desolve plastics and most other paints, while enamal will leave plastic and rubbers intact.  8)
