I know Gasman has seen a few but no connections yet.  Drock sent me a message about a 13 year girl getting one in the Nile.  Nice to hear a young hunter got one and is more than likely hooked now.

Just got back from Rimrock and found lots of sign at mid elevation but nothing up high.  Lots and lots of rubs but zero Elk spotted.

Saw plenty of dog tracks but too small for a wolf but something was sure out there in force.

Good luck folks, season isn't over just yet.

Came home yesterday in time to enjoy an awesome hawks game

Seen elk, mostly in the lower elevation of Rimrock but never a chance to connect  :bash: :bash: :bash:

Cam home early due to the weather coming in and and with RePete accidentally breaking out the back window of his truck, it was not the weather to be in with out a window  :violent1:

All the rain we got on Sat to Sunday night really put a damper on my spirit  :ACRY:

And hey, when we gonna knock down some ducks ELKRUNER  :dunno:

Got this one on Friday.  Was up pretty high.  Shot him through some trees at 15 yards.  Only shot available was a neck shot since he was looking right at me.  Went about 10 yards and I could hear blood squirting out of his neck.

Not much of a story, we were loading fire wood and he tossed a log over the bed rail and it hit another log, bounced up and hit the window   :bash: that dam glass is so sensitive, it was not hit very hard at all and it shattered.

Ah,
I got to camp one time and my dang nephew kept begging me to drive my quad.  Well I had a few too many and finally gave into unloading the dang thing for him to drive..bad idea.  I guess I should have checked if it was in reverse or not.   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Headed over to S. Cle Elum area tonight with Mama to try and find her one. We'll be over that way till the end. If anyone sees a big yellow Ford F350 Crew Cab Duelly give us a wave and we can compare notes. Good luck to everyone out there still trying to get it done.

The slushy snow on pinegrass sunday was NASTY! Hard to get around in. And to the jacka$$ in the new black chevy with a sled deck, I think you could have found a better spot to park your truck and trailer then the middle of the road at a 3 way intersection :bash:

We spent the past 3 days trying to find elk in the Winston unit. All we saw were a few does. Im not a real fan of the tree farm style of hunting. Big shout out to Wrongway for allowing us the opportunity to camp on his property. Thanks Amigo!

I saw that guy coming up the road and my first thought was, its a crappy day to be up there on a sled  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I was the one who broke trail on Sunday. made it all around the loop but it was Nasty. Some guys turned around and could not make. I don't blame them, I aired down the "Barbie Jeep" to 12 psi in that slop and still had a tough time on the upper end.

I was up late and didn't leave camp until day light and was surprised to see I was the first one up there  :dunno: but it was very crappy weather  :bash:
